Pancheng Street
Pancheng street is subordinate to Pukou District of Nanjing city. It is between Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge and Nanjing Yangtze River Second Bridge in the northeast of Pukou District. It borders Nanjing Chemical Industrial Park in the East, National Nanjing high tech Development Zone in the south, Laian County in Anhui Province across Chuhe River in the west, and Macha River in Liuhe District in the north.
In 2010, the population was 69815 (2010). In 2013, the total area of Pancheng street was 51.5 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 9 neighborhood committees and 135 neighborhood groups. Historical evolution
In the first year of Lingwang of the Western Zhou Dynasty (571 BC), Tangyi (now Liuhe District) was located. in the first year of Long'an in the Eastern Jin Dynasty (379), Weishi County was located. In 584, Liuhe County was established. It is located in Liuhe County. in the Tiansheng period of the Northern Song Dynasty, it was set up in Pancheng. In 1934, it was divided into districts, townships and towns. Pancheng Township, renamed Longshan Township, belongs to the Fourth District of Liuhe County. In 1947, there were Longshan Township, Xindu Township and qiaotang township. After liberation in April 1949, he was subordinate to Getang District of Liuhe County. In October 1957, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged. Duqiao township is merged into Longshan Township, which is subordinate to Liuhe County. In September 1958, Longshan Township and Getang Township merged to establish Bayi people's commune. In April 1959, Bayi people's commune was abolished and Longshan people's Commune and Getang people's commune were established. On February 26, 1960, it was designated by Liuhe County and subordinate to Pukou District of Nanjing city. In June 1961, Longshan people's commune was renamed Pancheng people's commune. In May 1963, it was designated as a small people's commune. Pancheng people's commune is divided into Pancheng, Yongfeng, qiaotang and Duqiao. In July 1965, qiaotang commune was merged into Pancheng commune and Duqiao commune into Yongfeng commune. In December 1973, Dachang District of Nanjing was established. Pancheng commune is set out by Pukou District and subordinate to Dachang District. Yongfeng commune still belongs to Pukou District. In October 1975, Pancheng commune was set aside from Dachang District and restored to Pukou District. In May 1983, the people's commune system of government and society was changed to separate government and society, and the establishment of Pancheng and Yongfeng townships was restored. In June 1989, Pancheng town was abolished and established. in November 2002, Pukou District merged towns. Yongfeng Township was merged into Pancheng Town, and the town government was stationed at 68 Pancheng new street.

In October 1957, Duqiao township was merged into Longshan township. Longshan Township governs 16 senior agricultural production cooperatives, including Pancheng, Longshan, Dingjie, Shuanglou, Xinhua, Shuangcheng, Luoqiao, Chenqiao, Nianfeng, Banqiao, Xinmin, Jifeng, Qinfeng, Qingfeng, Yongfeng and Jinzhuang. In September 1958, the people's commune was established, under which there were production brigades and production teams. In April 1959, Longshan commune had 13 production teams and 126 production teams in Pancheng, Longshan, Dingjie, Xinhua, Renlou, Chuhe, Yongfeng, Jifeng, Qingfeng, Xinmin, Jinzhuang, Duqiao and Luoqiao. In June 1961, Longshan commune was renamed Pancheng commune. In August, Longshan group was assigned to Yanjiang commune, and xuyao group was assigned to Getang commune. Pancheng commune has 13 production teams and 130 production teams in Pancheng, xuyao, Dingjie, Xinhua, Renlou, Chuhe, Yongfeng, Jinzhuang, Jifeng, Qingfeng, Xinmin, Duqiao and Luoqiao. In May 1963, the scale of the people's commune was reduced and the production brigade was abolished. Pancheng commune is divided into Pancheng, qiaotang, Yongfeng, Duqiao four people's communes, a total of 159 production teams. Among them, Pancheng commune administers 28 production teams, qiaotang commune administers 46 production teams (including 5 production teams assigned by the surrounding teams of Getang commune), Yongfeng commune administers 37 production teams, and Duqiao commune administers 48 production teams. In July 1965, the scale of commune and production brigade was adjusted. Qiaotang commune was incorporated into Pancheng commune, which has 8 production teams and 65 production teams, including Pancheng, xuyao, Dingjie, Shuanglou, Xinhua, Fanfu, Renlou and Chuhe, as shown in table (1-4). Duqiao commune was incorporated into Yongfeng commune, which has 10 production teams and 81 production teams, including Yongfeng, Jinzhuang, Luoqiao, Qingfeng, Duqiao, heizhaying, laoyougang, Jifeng, Banqiao and Xinmin, as shown in table (1-5). In April 1977, three production teams, Gaohan, Lianhe and Wangdu (later reorganized into four villager groups, Gaohan, Hewang, Daying and bianjiawanzi), were assigned to Yongfeng commune. In March 1985, Pancheng urban and rural people's government administered eight villagers' committees and 64 villagers' groups, including Pancheng, xuyao, Dingjie, Shuanglou, Xinhua, Fanfu, Renlou and Chuhe. The people's Government of Yongfeng Township has 10 villagers' committees and 84 villagers' groups, including Yongfeng, Jinzhuang, Luoqiao, Qingfeng, Duqiao, heizhaying, laoyougang, Jifeng, Banqiao and Xinmin. In August 1986, Pancheng Street residents committee was established. in March 2001, the administrative village was merged. Pancheng town has four villagers' committees, one residents' committee, 62 villagers' groups and three residents' groups in Pancheng, Jiangbei, Xinhua and Shuangcheng. Yongfeng Village has 5 villagers' committees and 84 villagers' groups in Yongfeng, Luoqiao, Duqiao, laoyougang and Banqiao. In November 2002, Pancheng town was merged with Yongfeng Township to establish Pancheng Town, which has 9 villagers' committees and 1 Street residents' committee, including 145 villagers' groups and 4 residents' groups, including Pancheng, Jiangbei, Xinhua, Shuangcheng, Yongfeng, Luoqiao, Duqiao, laoyougang and Banqiao. on December 12, 2007, Pancheng town in Pukou District was abolished and Pancheng sub district office was set up under its original jurisdiction, with 6 community neighborhood committees, 1 village committee and 2 Village neighborhood offices under its jurisdiction.

The basic characteristics of Pancheng geological structure in Nanjing area are as follows: in the Late Triassic, due to the influence of Indosinian movement, the crust began to fold and rise, resulting in a series of longitudinal faults consistent with the fold strike and transverse faults perpendicular to the fold. During the Yanshanian movement, fold and fault structures continued to develop and there was a strong ascending and descending movement. During the Himalayan movement, the inherited "Resurrection" of partial division was characterized by ascending and descending movements. It is mainly distributed around hills, terraces and plains, with brown yellow and brown red silt and sub clay, with a thickness of 5m-30m; the modern sedimentary formation is distributed in the plain of Chuhe polder area, with a thickness of 20m-70m, with brown red, earth yellow and gray brown fine sub clay, with gravel layer mixed with silt in the lower part.
