Zhengmo town

Zhengmo Town, subordinate to Xinle City, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, is located in the north of Xinle City, adjacent to nandayue town in the East, Chengan town and Mucun Township in the south, Xingtang County in the West and Quyang County in Baoding City in the north, with an administrative area of 41.01 square kilometers.

In 1956, Zhengmo township was set up; in 1993, the township was withdrawn and Zhengmo town was set up. By the end of 2018, the population of registered residence in Zheng Mo town was 24068. As of June 2020, Zhengmo town has jurisdiction over five administrative villages, and the people's Government of Zhengmo town is stationed in Zhengmo village.

In 2011, Zhengmo town completed 10.9 million yuan of tax revenue, including 5.33 million yuan of national tax, 5.3365 million yuan of local tax, and 20000 yuan of other income, an increase of 115% over the previous year. In 2018, there were 34 industrial enterprises in Zhengmo town.

History of construction

In 1956, Zhengmo township was established.

History and culture

It was once called alkali mill, Zhenmo and Zhenmo. In the early Song Dynasty, Zhenning temple was built and the village was renamed Zhenmo. In the first year of Xianping in the Northern Song Dynasty (998), it was renamed Zhengmo because of taboo of real words. It was named after the town people's Government in Zhengmo village.
