Housan Township, belonging to Wangkui County, Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the northwest of Wangkui county and the transition zone between Songnen Plain and the southwest edge of Xiaoxing'an Mountains. It is adjacent to Lingshan Township in the East, Xianfeng town in the south, Weixing reservoir in the West and Yongfu township of hailun City in the north, with an administrative area of 114.8 square kilometers.
By the end of 2018, there were 18556 registered residence in the three villages. As of October 2019, the three villages had jurisdiction over 5 administrative villages; the town government was stationed in the three Manchu village.
