Sunwu Town, subordinate to Sunwu County, Heihe City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the middle of Sunwu County. It is the residence of the people's Government of Sunwu County. It is adjacent to yaotun Township and Qunshan Township in the East, Chenqing Township and toudou Township in the south, Xixing Township in the West and woniuhe Township in the north. The town government is located at No. 5, Dongsan Road, sunguan city. The area is 216.2 square kilometers.

Historical evolution

In December 1933, sun Wubao was set up, named after sun and Wu diyingzi, belonging to Longzhen county.

In February 1935, the North Heihe railway was built and Sunwu station was set up.

In December 1937, Sunwu County was established as the residence of the puppet County Office.

In 1939, the Japanese Kwantung Army designated the north of Sun Wu as a "special military zone".

In January 1941, Sun Wu street was established.

After the victory of the Anti Japanese war in 1945, ten classes were set up in the town.

In 1947, it was changed into three streets.

In May 1948, it was divided into the first district.

In April 1953, Sunwu town was set up.

In September 1958, it was changed to operation area.

In April 1959, the people's commune of Sunwu County was changed to Sunwu County Association, and the original operation area was changed to Sunwu Town People's commune.

In July 1964, 20 production teams including Qingxi, Xinghua, Xingnan and woniuhe were set up to establish Xingbei commune.

In April 1965, the first production brigade of Yongjin was assigned to yaotun commune.

In 1969 and 1975, the second, third, fourth, fifth and vegetable teams of Yongjin production brigade were successively assigned to Xingbei commune.

In 1984, the commune was transformed into a township.

In 2001, Xingbei township was incorporated.

In June 2016, Sunwu town was merged with the streets of Sunwu city.
