Jicun town
Jicun Town, belonging to Yuanshi County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, is located in the northwest of Yuanshi County, bordering on machun town in the East, Yincun town in the southeast, BeiChu Township in the south, nanzuo town in the West and Luquan District in the north, with an administrative area of 43.54 square kilometers.
In the Qing Dynasty, Jicun town belonged to Qifan society; in May 1984, it was changed into Jicun town; in 1996, Zhengzhuang town was merged; in August 1998, it was changed into Jicun town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Ji village was 30448. As of June 2020, Jicun town has jurisdiction over 14 administrative villages, and the town people's government is stationed in Jicun.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Jicun town was 10.18 million yuan, an increase of 18% over the previous year, including 3.83 million yuan of local tax and 6.35 million yuan of national tax. In 2018, there were 85 industrial enterprises in Jicun Town, including 5 Enterprises above Designated Size and 70 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In Qing Dynasty, Jicun town belonged to Qifan society.
During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to four districts of Yuanshi County.
In 1937, it belonged to the northern district.
In 1945, it belonged to three districts.
In June 1953, it belonged to four districts and set up Jicun township.
In 1958, the two counties of Yuanshi and Gaoyi were merged into Gaoyuan County, belonging to Gaoyuan County; in December of the same year, Zanhuang county was merged into Gaoyuan county and renamed Yuanshi County, belonging to nanzuo commune of Yuanshi County.
In 1962, Jicun commune was founded. In the same year, Yuanshi County, Gaoyi County and Zanhuang county were separated and still belonged to Yuanshi County.
In May 1984, it was changed into Jicun township.
In 1996, Zhengzhuang township was incorporated.
In August 1998, the township was replaced by Jicun town.

At the end of 2011, Jicun town has 14 administrative villages: Jicun, Yanbao, qianzhaozhuang, houzhaozhuang, fanjiazhuang, Wangjiazhuang, dongzhengzhuang, xizhengzhuang, Qianying, Houying, Chiliang, Chenglang, Liyu and beiwuhui.
As of June 2020, Jicun town has 14 administrative villages: Houying village, Chenglang village, xizhengzhuang village, Yanbao village, Liyu village, dongzhengzhuang village, fanjiazhuang village, Wangjiazhuang village, Jicun village, beiwuhui village, Qianying village, Chiliang village, qianzhaozhuang village and houzhaozhuang village. The town people's government is stationed in Jicun.

Jicun town is located in the eastern foot of Taihang Mountain, most of which are Piedmont plains with high terrain in the West and low terrain in the East. Fenglongshan, the highest peak in the territory, is 812 meters above sea level; dongzhengzhuang village, the lowest point, is 215 meters above sea level.
