Xijian Township
Xijian Township, subordinate to Keshan County, Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the northwest of Keshan County. It is connected with beilian town in the East, Xicheng town in the southwest, and Keshan farm in the north. It is 40 kilometers away from the county, with a total administrative area of 167.11 square kilometers.
In the early days of the Republic of China, Xijian Township belonged to the first autonomous region of Keshan County. In March 1984, Xijian commune was transformed into Xijian township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in West Jian township was 20961. In 2019, Xijian rural governs seven administrative villages, and the people's government is stationed in the enemy village of Tongsheng village.
The main crops in Xijian township are wheat, soybeans, potatoes, sugar beets, etc. animal husbandry is mainly for raising pigs, sheep and poultry, and the township has grain and rice processing plants. In 2018, Xijian Township had 12 industrial enterprises and 4 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the early days of the Republic of China, it was subordinate to the first autonomous region of Keshan County. In 1929, it was under the jurisdiction of the Fourth District of Keshan County. In 1938, Changfa District Office was established. In 1946, Changfa district was changed.
In March 1955, Changfa district was renamed Changfa District Office; in November of the same year, it was renamed Xijian district office.
In April 1956, it was divided into Yongjian, Xijian and Tongjian townships.
In April 1958, Tongjian township was merged into Xijian township; in August 1958, Yongjian township was merged into Xijian township.
In September 1958, Xijian township was transformed into Xijian commune.
In March 1984, Xijian commune was transformed into Xijian township.

At the end of 2001, Xijian Township had seven administrative villages, namely Tonglian, Tongjian, Tongsheng, tongqi, Tongxi, Tongqing and Tonghe.
In 2019, Xijian village governs Tongsheng village, Tonglian village, Tongjian village, tongqi village, Tongxi village, Tongqing village and Tonghe village, and the people's government is stationed in the enemy village of Tongsheng village.
