Shanhou Township

Shanhou Township, belonging to Bayan County, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the northeast of Bayan, facing Qing'an County across Nihe River in the East and North, adjacent to Heishan town in the South and Tianzeng town in the West. In 2018, the area was 153.48 square kilometers, and the registered residence was 28558.

In the 35th year of the Republic of China (1946), Shanhou village was established, belonging to Xinglong district. In March, it was assigned to Tianzeng district. In August 1958, the Township Reform commune was established. In October 1968, it was renamed Hongsheng commune. In February 1984, it was changed to Shanhou township.

By the end of 2019, Shanhou village has five administrative villages: Pingyang village, Bailin village, Yuejin Village, Shengbei village and Shuanglin village.
