Yilan farm, located in Yilan County, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, is managed by Baoquanling branch of Heilongjiang General Bureau of agricultural reclamation. Yilan farm, founded in 1959, is located in the east of Heilongjiang Province, on the North Bank of Songhua River, with a total area of 56.29 square kilometers, cultivated land of 65300 mu, forest land and wetland of 30000 mu, a total population of 2887 people (in 2010), and an annual GDP of 61.3 million yuan.

In 2003, Suihua Institute of Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences was determined as the breeding base of soybean seed, and soybean and rice seeds realized the integration of breeding, breeding and promotion. In 2004, it was identified as pollution-free corn, soybean and rice producing area by Heilongjiang green food development center, and is a national secondary ecological demonstration area. Animal husbandry has been developing healthily. There are 1824 cows, 606 yellow cattle, 1620 sheep and 1792 pigs on hand. The annual output value of animal husbandry is 17.65 million yuan, accounting for 53% of the output value of planting industry. It has become the pillar industry of the farm. In order to promote the rapid development of animal husbandry, the farm has introduced 18 preferential policies, such as subsidies for frozen semen breeding and Quarantine of two diseases.
