Weishui Town, subordinate to Jingxing County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, is located in the middle of Jingxing County, adjacent to Shangan town in the East, Xinzhuang Township in the south, Xiulin town in the West and Weizhou town in the north, with an administrative area of 99.31 square kilometers.
In 1949, Weishui town belonged to the Fifth District of Jingxing County; in November 1988, Changgang Township, Yanfeng Township and Weishui town merged into Weishui town; in January 1996, Liangdu Township merged into Weishui town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in the town was 61571. As of June 2020, Weishui town has jurisdiction over 6 communities and 28 administrative villages, and the town people's government is stationed in Weishui village.
In 2011, the financial revenue of Weishui town was 65 million yuan, an increase of 13% over the previous year; the investment in fixed assets was 1.38 billion yuan, an increase of 15% over the previous year. The per capita net income of farmers was 7620 yuan, an increase of 5.3% over the previous year. History of construction
In 1949, Weishui town belonged to the Fifth District of Jingxing county.
In 1958, Weishui town was established as the residence of Jingxing county government.
In 1959, it belonged to Weishui commune.
In November 1988, Changgang Township, Yanfeng Township and Weishui town merged into Weishui town.
In January 1996, Liangdu township was incorporated.
