Hongquan Township
Hongquan Township, which belongs to the qianguoerlos Mongolian Autonomous County of Songyuan City, Jilin Province, is located in the south of qianguoerlos Mongolian Autonomous County, 55 kilometers away from the government of qianguoerlos Mongolian Autonomous County; it borders wangfuzhan town in the East, yangshulin township of Nong'an County in the south, Changlong Township and Baodian Township in the west, and Erru Township in the north. The total administrative area is 233.29 square kilometers.
In 1945, it belonged to Wangfu district (nine districts); in 1983, Hongquan commune was changed into Hongquan township. By the end of 2018, there were 19869 registered residence households in Hong Quan township. As of June 2020, Hongquan rural area has jurisdiction over 9 administrative villages.
In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Hongquan township was 420 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 7000 yuan. By the end of 2018, Hongquan Township had 2 industrial enterprises and 12 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1945, it belonged to Wangfu district; in July 1947, it belonged to Hongquan district.
In March 1956, it was divided into three townships, Jianshanzi, jiucaituozi and Dashan, belonging to two townships.
In April 1958, Jianshanzi Township and jiucaituozi Township were merged into Hongquan township; in October, Hongquan (Lighthouse) commune was changed.
In 1983, the commune was transformed into a township.

Hongquan township is located in the south of the former gollos Mongolian Autonomous County, 55 kilometers away from the former gollos Mongolian Autonomous County Government. It borders wangfuzhan town in the East, yangshulin Township in Nongan County in the south, Changlong Township and Baodian Township in the west, and Erru Township in the north. The maximum distance between the East and the west is 22 kilometers, the maximum distance between the north and the south is 13 kilometers, and the total administrative area is 233.29 square kilometers.

History and culture
It was named in memory of martyr Feng Hongquan who died in the fight against bandits in Dayushu village, wangfuzhan town in 1946.
