Wanghai Manchu Township
Wanghai Manchu Township, which belongs to Xingcheng City, Huludao City, Liaoning Province, is located in the southwest of Xingcheng City, on the West Bank of Yantai river. In the southeast, it is adjacent to Haibin Manchu Township by railway, Dongxinzhuang town in the southwest, Weiping Manchu Township in the west, nandashan Manchu Township in the northwest and shahousuo town in the northeast. The administrative area is 81.4 square kilometers.
In 1932, Wanghai Manchu Township belonged to wanghaidian village, Xingcheng County; in January 1985, it was renamed Wanghai Manchu Township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Manchu Township in Wang Hai was 20005. As of June 2020, Wanghai Manchu Township has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in Wanghai village.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Wanghai Manchu Township was 2.08 million yuan, an increase of 25% over the previous year. In 2018, there were 32 industrial enterprises in Wanghai Manchu Township, including one above scale and 25 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1932, Wanghai Manchu Township was located in wanghaidian village, Xingcheng county.
In 1946, it was a township.
In 1948, it belonged to the Sixth District.
In 1956, Wanghai township was established.
In 1958, it became a commune of Shahou.
In 1961, Wanghai commune was set up from Shahou.
In 1983, it was changed to Wanghai township.
In January 1985, it was renamed Wanghai Manchu Township.

Wanghai Manchu Township is named because it is close to Liaodong Bay and located in Gaogang. It can live in gaogangtou and overlook the sea.

During the second national cultural relics survey, three typical specimens were collected at the site, including three stone grinding plates (one complete one), four stone grinding rods, five kinds of stone axes, stone hoes, stone shovels, cutters, stone balls, etc., and many pieces of sand red brown pottery, such as "Zhi" shaped bowl shaped ware and straight tube jar.
