Wanghai Manchu Township, which belongs to Xingcheng City, Huludao City, Liaoning Province, is located in the southwest of Xingcheng City, on the West Bank of Yantai river. In 1932, Wanghai Manchu Township belonged to wanghaidian village, Xingcheng County; in January 1985, it was renamed Wanghai Manchu Township. As of June 2020, Wanghai Manchu Township has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in Wanghai village.

History of construction

In 1932, Wanghai Manchu Township was located in wanghaidian village, Xingcheng county.

In 1946, it was a township.

In 1948, it belonged to the Sixth District.

In 1956, Wanghai township was established.

In 1958, it became a commune of Shahou.

In 1961, Wanghai commune was set up from Shahou.

In 1983, it was changed to Wanghai township.

In January 1985, it was renamed Wanghai Manchu Township.

Wanghai Manchu Township is named because it is close to Liaodong Bay and located in Gaogang. It can live in gaogangtou and overlook the sea.
