Yonganpu Township, belonging to Suizhong County, Huludao City, Liaoning Province, is located in the west of Suizhong County, with Qianwei town and Gaoling town in the East and Southeast, qiansuo Town, xidianzi town and Lijiabao Township in the south, Funing County in Hebei Province in the west, jiabeiyan Township in the northwest, qiuzigou Township and Mingshui Manchu Township in the north, with an administrative area of 223.82 square kilometers.
In 1902, Suizhong County was established and divided into four districts; in 1983, yonganbao township was changed. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Yongan Fort township was 7415. As of June 2020, yonganbao township has jurisdiction over 8 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located in Dadianzi village.
In 2011, the total revenue of yonganbao township was 6.49 million yuan. In 2018, yonganbao township has three comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1902, Suizhong County was established, which was divided into four districts.
During the period of the Republic of China, Suizhong was divided into eight districts, and yonganpu belonged to four districts.
In 1958, it belonged to the former commune.
In 1961, yonganbao commune was established, and the integration of government and society was implemented.
In 1983, it was changed to yonganbao township.

History and culture
In the seventh year of the Ming Dynasty (1442), when the Great Wall was built, a castle was built and garrisoned for defense. In order to achieve permanent peace, it was named Yong'an castle.
famous scenery
Miaofengsi double tower, also known as tazigou double tower, is located in tazigou village, yonganbao Township, Suizhong County, Huludao City, Liaoning Province. It is a national key cultural relics protection unit. The twin towers were built in the Qiantong period of Liao Dynasty (1101-1114) and got its name because of Miaofeng temple under the tower.
Yongan Great Wall was built in the Hongwu Period of Ming Dynasty (1368-1398). It is an integral part of the Great Wall. There are 31 enemy towers, 18 Battle Towers and 14 beacon towers. In 2015, Yong'an Great Wall was listed in the National Great Wall protection demonstration area.
