Liuhao Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Liaoyang County, Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province, is located in the southwest of Liaoyang County, adjacent to Liuerbao town in the East, tangmazhai town in the south, xiaobeihe town across Taizi River in the West and huangniwa town in the north, with an administrative area of 102.47 square kilometers.
In the early days of the founding of the people's Republic of China, it belonged to Liaoyang County; in October 1993, it was changed to Liuhao town. By the end of 2018, the population of Liu Hao town registered residence was 28150. As of June 2020, Liuhao town has 14 administrative villages.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Liuhao town was 10.4 million yuan. The per capita net income of farmers was 8437 yuan, an increase of 10% over the previous year. In 2018, Liuhao town had 12 industrial enterprises and 58 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the early days of the founding of the people's Republic of China, it belonged to Liaoyang County.
In February 1962, Liuhao commune was set up.
In August 1968, it belongs to Shaling district.
In May 1978, it belongs to Shoushan district.
In 1980, it belonged to Liaoyang County.
In August 1983, Liuhao township was changed.
In October 1993, it was changed to Liuhao town.

By the end of 2011, Liuhao town had 14 administrative villages: liuliuhao, mengliuhao, clam lizard pit, xianghulin, xiyaozi, zhuanzhou, xiaochuancheng, Changjia, gaolicheng, qingyuwan, huangtao, luotao, Nanjiao, Beijiao, and 77 villager groups.
As of June 2020, Liuhao town has 14 administrative villages: clamkeng village, Nanjiao village, mengliuhao village, liuliuhao village, gaolicheng village, qingyuwan village, xiyaozi village, zhuanzhou village, xiaochuancheng village, Beijiao village, xianghulin village, huangtao village, Changjia village and luotao village. The town people's government is stationed in Liuhao Village.

Liuhao Town River belongs to Taizi River system. Taizi River originates from HONGSHILAZI mountain in Xinbin county. It is a tributary of the lower reaches of Liaohe River, with a total length of 413 km. It enters Liaohe River from hetakang village, Liuhao Town, from northeast to southwest, through zhuanzhou village. Liuhao river originates from Shoushan and Shiqiaozi in the northern suburb of Liaoyang City. It is a tributary of Taizi River, with a length of 33.9 km. It enters from Beijiao village of Liuhao Town, from north to south, and enters into Taizi River after passing gaolicheng village. Nansha River originates from Hanjiayu and shangshiqiao village in Qianshan Mountains. It is a tributary of Taizi River, with a total length of 65.4 km. It enters from xiaochuancheng village, flows from southeast to northwest, and enters Taizi River after passing qingyuwan village. Beidi river originates from Lingshan and is a tributary of Liuhao River, with a total length of 16.5 km. It flows into Liuhao River from the east side of Wangjiaqiao in Liuhao town.
