Helong Manchu Township
Helong Manchu Township, belonging to Donggang City, Dandong City, Liaoning Province, is located in the north central part of Donggang City, adjacent to Shizijie town in the East, Changshan town in the south, Majiadian town in the west, Chang'an Town and Hongqi Town in Fengcheng City in the north, covering an area of 99.11 square kilometers.
In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), Helong village was located in the Sixth District of Fengcheng county to the north of Helong highway, and dongjianshan village was located in the third district of Fengcheng county to the south of Helong highway. In 2002, it was renamed Helong Manchu Township. By the end of 2018, 20527 households had registered residence in Heung Manchu. As of June 2020, Helong Manchu countryside has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Helong Manchu Township was 33.17 million yuan, an increase of 34% over the previous year; the general budget revenue was 26.34 million yuan, an increase of 25% over the previous year. The per capita net income of farmers is 10200 yuan. In 2018, there were 14 industrial enterprises and 12 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in Helong Manchu Township.
History of construction
In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), Helong village was located in the Sixth District of Fengcheng county to the north of Helong highway, and dongjianshan village was located in the third district of Fengcheng county to the south of Helong highway.
In the 25th year of the Republic of China (1936), Helong was divided into Anton county and Tiejia Fangshen. The police station was Helong village, under which there were villages.
In 1937, Helong District of Anton county was established.
In May 1958, the district was withdrawn and Helong township was established; in September of the same year, Helong commune was established.
In 1966, Helong commune was renamed Yuejin commune.
In 1970, the original name of Helong commune was restored.
In September 1983, Helong commune was changed into Helong township.
In June 1985, the township was removed to build a town, and Helong town was established.
In 1986, Helong Manchu town was established.
In 2002, it was renamed Helong Manchu Township.
