History of construction
In July 1956, Zhenan road street was established.
In April 1960, zhenanlu street and Zhenzhu street were merged into zhenanlu commune.
In August 1965, Zhen'an road commune was changed into Pearl Road commune.
In October 1966, Zhenzhu road commune was divided into Taiping commune and Zhenzhu road commune.
In 1968, the former Taiping commune was changed into Dongfeng commune, and the former zhenzhulu commune was changed into Dongfanghong commune.
In August 1970, Dongfeng commune was restored to Taiping commune, and Dongfang commune was restored to Zhenzhu road commune.
In November 1976, Zhenzhu road and Taiping commune merged into Zhenzhu road commune.
In 1981, Pearl Road commune was renamed Pearl Street.
In January 2000, it was assigned to Zhen'an District.
