Sanglin town
Sanglin town belongs to Tai'an County, Anshan City, Liaoning Province. It is located in the middle of Liaoning Province and the northwest of Tai'an County. It covers an area of 187.66 square kilometers and governs 11 administrative villages with 27859 people (2017).
Sanglin town is located in the alluvial plain of the lower reaches of Liaohe River, with flat terrain, arid climate and windy sand. Raoyang River, old Raoyang River and liaorao canal flow through the territory. Sanglin town is rich in oil and gas resources and is one of the production areas of Liaohe Oilfield.
Agriculture is the main body of the national economy in Sanglin Town, where corn, sorghum, rice, soybean and other crops are mainly planted. Straw hat is a special product of mulberry forest. Industrial categories include food processing, feed processing, mechanical casting, etc. In 2010, the local financial revenue of Sanglin town was 15.76 million yuan.
In December 2016, Sanglin town was listed as the third batch of national new urbanization comprehensive pilot areas.

Guangxu 28 years (1902), belongs to xinminfu Zhen'an County. in the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belonged to Liaozhong County, Fengtian province. In 1913, Taian County was established, and sanglinzi was the Fifth District of Taian County. From October 1945 to February 1946, a democratic government under the leadership of the Communist Party was established in Taian County. In April 1946, the Kuomintang Taian County government abolished the district system and changed it to the street village system. Sanglin village was set up in the area of Sanglin. In September 1947, the system of Jiecun was abolished and Sanglin village was changed into Sanglin township. In January 1948, Taian County was liberated and set up Sanglin district. In August, Sanglin District, Huangjia district and Xinli district were merged into the third district, and the district government was stationed in sanglinzi village. In April 1949, the third district was transferred to western Liaoning Province along with Taian County. In August 1954, Liaodong province and Liaoxi province merged into Liaoning Province, and suitai'an County, the third district, belonged to Liaoning Province. In March 1955, the third district was changed into Sanglin District, which was assigned to Liaoyang Special office along with Taian County. In February 1958, Sanglin district was abolished and Sanglin Township, Ciyu Township and Tuanjie Township were directly under the county; in June, the original three counties were merged into two counties (Sanglin Township and Tuanjie Township); in September, sanglinzi people's commune (also known as Tuanjie commune) was established. In January 1959, the Liaoyang Special Office was abolished, and the Sanglin commune was attached to Shenyang City along with Taian County. In March 1964, Sanglin commune belonged to Taian County. In January 1965, Sanglin commune was attached to Tieling special office along with Taian County. In July 1968, Sanglin commune was assigned to Panjin reclamation area along with Taian County. Sanglin town is located in the northwest of Tai'an County, Anshan City. In the north and northwest, it borders sijiazi town of Heishan County and liujiaxiang town of Beizhen city. In the West and south, it borders Gaosheng town of Panshan county and Xintai town of Tai'an County. In the East and northeast, it connects Taixi District, Xiping forest farm and Huandong town. Its geographical coordinates are 121 ° 21 ′ E and 41 ° 25 ′ n. the whole town is 19 km long from north to South and 16.5 km wide from east to west, The total area is 187.66 square kilometers. The town government is located in Sanglin village, 13.5km away from Taian County in the southeast, 70km away from Anshan City in the southeast, 41km away from Panjin City in the southwest, and 100km away from Shenyang City Center in the northeast.

Sanglin town is located in the alluvial plain of the lower reaches of Liaohe River, which is a part of Songliao plain. It is mainly alluvial plain landform with flat terrain and small fluctuation. The average altitude is 7 meters, the highest is 9.6 meters, and the lowest is 6.7 meters. In addition, there are some dune landforms. In 2001, there were more than 10 large dunes and more than 20 tuyeres in the town, which were improved after treatment.

Raoyang River, old Raoyang River and liaorao canal flow through Sanglin town. Raoyang River, a tributary of Shuangtaizi River, is the boundary river between Tai'an County, Beizhen city and Heishan County. It enters Hejia village, passes Weijia, jiangtuozi, Chaijia and other villages along the western border to the south, and flows into Panshan county through Chaijia drainage station, with a length of 19.8km and an average annual flow of 8.7m3/s. The old Raoyang River used to be a natural river course, starting from Ciyu village in the north and flowing through Sanglin, Qijia, nangaojia and other villages in the south to Xintai town. After the founding of new China, because of water conservancy construction, it was cut into three sections in the territory and became an inland river. Liaorao canal traverses the whole territory from east to west, with an average annual flow of 0.94 m3 / s. Most of the surface runoff occurs from July to September, with a depth of 75mm. Sanglin No.1 groundwater exploitation area is located in Hejia Fujia watershed on the left bank of Raoyang River, with a water bearing area of 439 square meters
