Wangjing Street

Wangjing street is under the jurisdiction of Chaoyang District, Beijing. It is located in the northeast of Chaoyang District, bordered by Jiuxianqiao, Donghu, Jiangtai, cuigezhuang, Datun and Taiyanggong. It covers an area of 10.36 square kilometers and has a permanent population of 168167 (2010).

On December 16, 2019, it will be included in the list of the third batch of smart health elderly care demonstration streets (towns).

geographical position

Wangjing street is located in the northeast of Chaoyang District, surrounded by airport expressway, Fourth Ring Road, Jingcheng Expressway and fifth ring road. It is an important window area of Chaoyang District's regional internationalization and capital modernization.

Historical evolution

Wangjing sub district office was officially established on June 28, 2000, which is composed of Huajiadi, nanhuqu and Wangjing.

In 2002, it covers an area of 9.76 square kilometers and has a population of 91000. It governs 14 communities, including four districts of Wangjing West Garden, Nanhu East Garden, Nanhu middle garden, Nanhu Xili, Wangjing Road Sili, Wangjing Road Dongli, Huajiadi, Huajiadi Beili, Huajiadi Nanli, Huajiadi Xili, fangzhouyuan, Atlantic, Wangjing West Garden and Nanhu West garden.

Street traffic

rail transit:

The intersection of the two metro lines: line 15 and line 14 (expected to be completed in 2015); the most convenient transfer point: within 5 minutes from line 15, line 14, line 13, airport express and line 10, which is convenient to transfer to each Metro.

Public transportation:

Buses 404, 416, 420, 445, 536, 656, 657, 677, 682, 701, 707, 983, Yuntong 101, Yuntong 104, Yuntong 107, etc. all have stops near Wangjing SOHO.

Road traffic:

Fourth Ring Road: the Fourth Ring Road is connected with Jingtong, Jingshen, Jingjintang, Jingkai, Jingshi, Badaling expressways and dozens of urban trunk roads. The huge urban transportation network connects the surrounding golden areas.

Beijing Chengde expressway:

Jingcheng road directly connects the third and fourth ring roads and Chaoyang, Shunyi, Huairou and Miyun districts and counties. It is the main traffic trunk road in the northeast of Beijing.

Airport Express:

The main route is from Beijing Sanyuanqiao to Beijing airport, connecting with the third, fourth and fifth ring roads of Beijing.
