KEKEYA Village
It is a township level administrative unit under the jurisdiction of Tashkurgan Tajik Autonomous County, Kashgar Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of the people's Republic of China. It has jurisdiction over 11 administrative villages. It is located in the southwest of Xinjiang, with an average altitude of 4000 meters and a total population of more than 3500. KEKEYA township has a long history and is a unique place. Beautiful scenery, full of typical western region customs, is a good place for tourism and vacation.
Evolution of organizational system
KEKEYA township is located in the south of TA county. In the Han Dynasty, it was the land of Puli in the western regions.
From the Northern Wei Dynasty to the Sui Dynasty, it was the land of the drinking pan Tuo state.

The song and Yuan Dynasties belonged to Khotan.
Ming Dynasty belongs to Yeerqiang Khanate.
In the Qing Dynasty, in the 28th year of Guangxu (1902), Puli branch defense hall was set up, which was subordinate to Shache house.
In 1913, Puli county was established, belonging to Kashgar road.
After the founding of the people's Republic of China, the people's Government of Puli county was established in March 1950, under the jurisdiction of Kashgar administrative office; on September 17, 1954, Tashkurgan Tajik Autonomous County was established, under the jurisdiction of Southern Xinjiang administrative office; in 1956, the southern Xinjiang administrative office was abolished, and the Autonomous County was under the jurisdiction of Kashgar special office; after the cultural revolution, it was under the jurisdiction of Kashgar administrative office.

With the idea of "expanding area, increasing income, focusing on per unit area yield and increasing total yield", KEKEYA Township pays attention to intensive cultivation, continuously increases investment in science and technology, drives farmers and herdsmen to plant scientifically and manage scientifically, improves per unit area yield and increases total yield. At the end of 2006, the cultivated land area was 650 mu, with a total yield of 29000 kg and an average yield of 99 kg per unit area.

Animal husbandry development

Labor export
