Jianguo Road is a street in Hebei District of Tianjin, China.

The road was originally called the main road. From 1900 to 1902, Tianjin Olympic concession, Tianjin Italian Concession and Tianjin Russian concession were opened up one after another, forming a road running through the three concessions, from the east gate of the old city through jintangqiao to the east railway station.

In 1905, Biguo electric company opened the tram line. In the western part of the Olympic concession, along the main road was the traditional Chinese residential neighborhood, which formed a commercial street with concentrated Chinese retail business. the Austrian Hungarian consulate and the Italian Consulate in Tianjin are both located on the main road. In 1914, the Italian consul in Tianjin, Captain feloti, cooperated with Mobil company to build Tianjin Italian Concession Road (Jianguo Road) into the first asphalt road in Tianjin.
