Nuwen Muren Township
Nuwenmuren township is located in the southeast of zalaite banner, on the banks of chuoer River and Nenjiang River. It is rich in resources, beautiful grassland, pleasant scenery, developed transportation, close to Harbin, Qiqihar and other large and medium-sized cities, known as the "hometown of apricot". "Nuwenmuren" is Mongolian, which means "Nenjiang River" in Chinese. It is named because it is adjacent to Nenjiang River.
Township geography
The total area of the township is 356 square kilometers, the township government is 67 kilometers away from the flag government, and the cultivated land area is 110000 mu. The grassland area is 200000 Mu and the water area is 25000 mu. At present, there are 9 villages with 9996 people (2017), more than half of them are Mongolian. The terrain in the territory is gentle with slight ups and downs. Meadow soil, swamp soil and chernozem are distributed intermittently. The south is mainly cultivated land, while the north is seasonal pasture. Chuoer river meanders thousands of miles and flows quietly into Nenjiang River at the foot of beautiful Xingshan mountain. Five kilometers away from the seat of the township government is the famous Xinghua mountain, which is 300 meters above sea level and covers an area of 6 square kilometers, reaching chuoer River in the north and Nenjiang estuary in the East. Xinghua mountain is an aeolian sand dune covered with natural apricots, so it is named Xinghua mountain. From the north to the southwest of the river, the meadow around Xinghua mountain is covered with reed, Sparganium and Stipa. It is a natural pasture. The oxbow lake (commonly known as yuliangzi) on the pasture is a good place to cast nets for fishing. Lamawan fishing ground, the largest natural fishing base, is here. It once produced 1 million jin of fish per year. Fishing boats float on the water, fish and gulls soar in the sky, and cattle and sheep grow on the pasture The river is rich in aquatic products.
Township Construction
After years of development and construction, in 2010, the total grain output of the township was 20 million kg, 12000 livestock, and the total area of windbreak and sand fixation forest was 12400 mu. The total output value of township enterprises is 30.93 million yuan. There are 10 primary schools in the township, and the enrollment rate of school-age children is 100%.
