Yongxin Township
Yongxin Township, subordinate to Jingyuan County, Baiyin City, Gansu Province, is located in the north of Jingyuan County. It is adjacent to Beitan Township in the East, Shuiquan town of Pingchuan District in the south, Xinglong Township across the river with Wufo township of Jingtai County in the west, and Changtan township of Zhongwei in Ningxia in the northeast, with a total administrative area of 330.7 square kilometers.
In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), the ancient township office was set up; in 1983, it was changed to Yongxin township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in Xinxiang was 10366. In June 2020, Yongxin township has jurisdiction over 11 administrative villages.
In 2011, the per capita net income of farmers in Yongxin township was 2290 yuan. In 2018, Yongxin Township had 5 industrial enterprises and 41 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), the ancient township office was set up.
In 1949, it was under the jurisdiction of the Fourth District of Jingyuan.
In 1958, Lungu commune was established.
In 1963, it was divided into two communes, Lungu commune and Songbai commune, belonging to Beitan district office.
In 1968, it was merged into Lungu commune and later changed into Yongxin commune.
In 1983, it was changed into Yongxin township.
