Jiaotong town belongs to Chengcheng County, Weinan City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the south of Chengcheng County, facing Dudian township of Heyang County across Dayu River in the East, Weizhuang town across Dayu River in the south, Yongfeng town of Pucheng County in the southwest, Luobin town of Pucheng County in the West and Chengguan Street in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 12 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 11 kilometers, with a total area of 78.12 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, Jiaotong town has 10 administrative villages under its jurisdiction. As of 2018, the number of registered residence households was 20944. In 2011, the total financial revenue of Jiaotong town was 917200 yuan, the total industrial output value was 21.8 million yuan, and the total social commodity transaction value was 32 million yuan.
Historical evolution
The origin of the name is due to its location in the spring and Autumn period.
In 1929, it belonged to Zhengnan district.
In 1935, the joint insurance system was implemented, and the joint insurance system was set up.
