Dongba Township

Dongba Township, located in the northeast of Beijing, is the core of Dongba group. It borders Jiangtai Township and Dongfeng Township in the west, Jinzhan township in the north and East, and bungalow and Changying Township in the south. The towns of the same name include Dongba Township, Nangqian County, Qinghai Province, and Dongba Township, Zuogong County, Changdu Prefecture, Tibet Autonomous Region.

Dongba township is located in the west of Nangqian County, 120 kilometers away from the county government. Population 5611 (2017). The total area is 1138.22 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over five village (animal husbandry) committees, namely, Jisai, Guoyong, Longda, gamai and RERA. Dongba township was established in 1963, Dongba commune was established in 1972, and Dongba township was reestablished in 1984.
