Mandura town
Mandula Town, belonging to the United banner of Baotou City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the north of the United banner, adjacent to Siziwang Banner of Ulanqab city in the East, darhansumu banner of Benqi in the south, bayinhua town of Benqi in the west, and hadenbaolige County of East Gobi province of Mongolia in the north. The area is 1834.89 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, 1466 people registered residence.
In 1958, mandura commune was established. In April 1984, mandura commune was changed into Sumu. In 2001, bayintala Sumu was abolished and the administrative region was assigned to mandurasumu. In October 2002, the town of Sumu in mandura was changed. In June 2020, Mandula town has two administrative villages.
In 2018, there was one industrial enterprise in Mandula Town, including one industrial enterprise above Designated Size and one comprehensive store or supermarket with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

In the early days of liberation, mandurasu belonged to the second nutuk of Darhan banner.
In 1958, mandura commune was established.

Mandula town is located in the depth of inland, flat and open terrain. The terrain is high plain and low mountain. The north is close to the border between China and Mongolia. It belongs to denuded residual Hill grassland desert, and the south is low hill river depression. The main mountains are bayinhar mountain, zari mountain, Erden Obotu mountain, guriban Baiyin mountain, etc. With an average altitude of 1129 meters, the lowest point in the territory is located in tenge Nur, with an altitude of 1058 meters.

Mandula town belongs to temperate continental monsoon climate, which is characterized by long and cold winter, short and cool summer, strong changes of cold and heat, large temperature difference between day and night, and long freezing period. The annual average temperature is 5.8 ℃, the average temperature in January is 13.4 ℃, and the extreme minimum temperature is 35.6 ℃ (January 23, 1958); the average temperature in July is 23.3 ℃, and the extreme maximum temperature is 39.8 ℃ (July 26, 1999). The annual average frost free period is 133 days. The average annual sunshine hours are 3234 hours. The average annual precipitation is 170 mm, and the average annual evaporation is 2785 mm. The rainfall is concentrated from July to August every year, with the most in July.

The main rivers in Mandula town are sangendalai River, baoligahala River, haolaihudong River and other seasonal rivers. The surface water resources are poor and unevenly distributed in time and space, which are mainly supplied by natural precipitation.

In 2011, one kind of non-metallic mineral resources and two kinds of metallic mineral resources have been proved in Mandula Town, of which the reserves of copper and zinc are 50 million tons. The developed copper mine is located in gachaganhadamiao, tenge Nur, with a daily processing capacity of 200 tons. Other resources are mirabilite, mainly distributed in Erden Oboo saidabusunur, which belongs to medium-sized industrial deposits. It has 30000 mu of forest land and 3.582 million mu of pasture land.
