Xingfu town

Xingfu Town, belonging to Beilin District, Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the eastern part of Beilin District, the North Bank of Nihe River, the link area between Xiaoxing'an Mountains and Songnen Plain. It borders Dongjin town in the East, Wanfa town of Bayan County across the river in the south, Dongfu Township in the west, and Jinhe town in the north. In 2018, the area of the town was 171.7 square kilometers, and the registered residence population was 34284.

In October 2019, Xingfu town has nine administrative villages.

Historical evolution

In 1945, it belonged to Jinhe District of Suihua county.

In 1948, Xingfu district was established.

In 1951, it belonged to the Sixth District.

In April 1956, the township was divided into four townships: Xingfu, Xincheng, Minzhu and Dongfu.

In August 1958, the four townships were merged into Xingfu commune.

In 1961, it was divided into Xingfu and Dongfu communes.

In March 1984, the commune was transformed into a township with jurisdiction over nine villages, including Xingfu, Liuhe, Xincheng and Wanxing.

In April 2001, Longtai township was merged into Xingfu Township, which governs 15 villages including Xingfu, Liuhe and Xincheng. In September, Liuhe village was merged into Xingfu village, Wanxing village into Xincheng village, Jinnan village into toujing village, haole village into Longtai village, Tianhe Village into Jinlin village, and Sihe village into Fushun Village.

In 2016, Xingfu township was set up as a town by withdrawing the township. The administrative region of Xingfu township is the administrative region of Xingfu Town, and the original subordinate relationship and the location of the government remain unchanged.
