Xinyingzi Town, belonging to Hohhot City and Tuoketuo County of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the southeast of Tuoketuo County, bordering on shebiya township of Helingeer County in the East, Lamawan town of Qingshuihe County in the southeast, Xuejiawan town of Zhungeer banner across the Yellow River in the south, Shuanghe town in the west, wushijia town in the north, 16km from the county in the West and 63km from the urban area in the north It covers an area of 383.19 square kilometers.
In the Qing Dynasty, xinyingzi town belonged to the East Township of Helingeer hall; in 2006, yanshanying township was merged into xinyingzi town. Xinyingzi town is named after the town government's residence in xinyingzi village.
