Xiazaolin township is located 9.5km west of the county seat. The township is composed of 14 administrative villages (49 natural villages), with a total number of 3431 households and a total population of 11269, including 10871 agricultural population and 398 non-agricultural population. The land area of the township is 142 square kilometers, with 22000 mu of cultivated land and 23000 mu of converted land, and the per capita net income is 1800 yuan.

The infrastructure construction of gengyang Coal Industry Co., Ltd. has been basically completed, and now it has entered the stage of joint trial production. The production capacity of dongeucalyptus Yujin coal industry has been increased from 600000 tons to 1.2 million tons, and the main and auxiliary shafts of Xinyan coal mine are expected to be completed by the end of the year.
