Gonghe Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Pingchuan District, Baiyin City, Gansu Province, is located in the middle of Pingchuan District, bordering Huangqiao Township in the East, Jingyuan County in the south, Baoji Township in the West and Jingyuan County in the north, with a total administrative area of 302.99 square kilometers.

History of construction
In 1959, the Republic commune was established.
In 1983, it was changed into Gonghe township.
In 1985, after the establishment of Pingchuan District, it was under the jurisdiction of Pingchuan District.
In 1997, it was adjusted to Gonghe Township and Huangqiao township.
In 2002, Xihe village of Gonghe township was adjusted to establish Honghui town.
In 2004, Gonghe Township and Honghui town were abolished and Gonghe town was established.
