Liangshui Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Tumen City, Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin Province, is located in the northeast of Tumen City, bordering on Mijiang town of Hunchun city in the East, Tumen River in the South and Wencheng County of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea across the river, Yueqing town and Shixian town in the west, Dongguang town of Wangqing County in the north, with an administrative area of 370.74 square kilometers.
Ming Yongle five years (1407), belong to muxiahewei; in November 1984, Liangshui township to town; in August 1, 1991, under Tumen City. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in the town of Liang Shui was 13256. As of June 2020, Liangshui town has one community and 12 administrative villages.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Liangshui town was 4.357 million yuan, 45.7% less than that of the previous year. The per capita net income of farmers is 6719 yuan. History of construction
Ming Yongle five years (1407), belong to the Muxia River Wei.
In the Qing Dynasty, the Detong station, mukdehkalun, was set up.
At the end of Guangxu period in Qing Dynasty, it was called quanzi West Street in Liangshui.
In 1934, Chunfang Baobao and Baobao Office of Wangqing County moved here and renamed Hedong, belonging to Chunfang District of Wangqing County.
In 1947, it was put under the jurisdiction of Hunchun county.
In 1950, it was renamed District 7.
In April 1956, it was divided into Liangshui and Yinghao townships.
In September 1958, the Township Reform commune was established.
In 1962, Yinghao commune was merged into Liangshui commune.
In 1983, Liangshui commune was transformed into a township.
In November 1984, Liangshui township was transformed into a town.
On August 1, 1991, it was transferred to Tumen City.

At the end of 2011, Liangshui town had one community and 12 administrative villages: 12 villager committees of Liangcheng, Liangshui, Helin, Yinghua, Longhu, Dongshan, NANDA, Beida, Qingrong, Shitou, Tingyan, Hexi and Dongdian; 17 resident groups and 83 villager groups.
As of June 2020, Liangshui town has one community and 12 administrative villages: Liangcheng community, Liangshui village, Longhu village, Dongdian village, Hexi village, Yinghua village, Helin village, Dongshan village, NANDA village, Qingrong village, Shitou village, Tingyan village and Beida village. The town people's government is stationed in Liangshui Village.

Tumen River flows into Hunchun city from 2.7 km east of Daxing village in Yueqing town to 2.5 km east of Hedong hydrological station, with a length of 23.4 km. Shitouhe river originates from the north side of triangle mountain in shitoucun village, Liangshui Town, flows south and joins Tumen River in the west of Liangshui Town, with a length of 34.5 km and a drainage area of 214 square meters Square kilometers.
