Baiwen town
Baiwen town is located in the northeast of Linxian County, in the north of the upper reaches of Qiushui River, adjacent to Chengzhuang town in the South and Xingxian County in the north. The terrain is roughly "two mountains with one river". The East and West peaks are undulating, with continuous hills. The qiuchuan River Valley in the middle is flat and widely distributed hills. 218 provincial road passes through qiuchuan from north to south, with convenient transportation. The total area is 258.29 square kilometers, and the cultivated land area is 97180 mu, including 6945 mu of water land. The whole town governs 32 administrative villages, 15 natural villages, one neighborhood committee, 1065 households, and 34579 people (2017). The village is located in the ditch on both sides of Qiuhe River and the East and West Mountains. In January 1994, General Secretary Jiang Zemin inspected Linxian county and passed by Bai Wen, and determined to build a new Bai Wen hospital and a Bai Wen vocational and technical school, so as to lay a foundation for Bai Wen's economic development. The territory is rich in resources, underground storage of coal, limestone, dolomite and other minerals. Baiwen town is a pure agricultural town, which is the main grain producing area of Linxian County. In 2000, the project of returning farmland to forest and grassland was implemented, with 3000 mu of farmland and 5000 mu of forest. The ecological environment was further improved.

Historical evolution
Baiwen village, where Baiwen town is located, is an ancient market town. In the Tang Dynasty, the ancient town flourished in the late Qing Dynasty, which was the grain trade center of Xingxian, Fangshan, Lanxian and Linxian. In October 1940, it was burned out by Japanese fire for three days. Since the reform and opening up, various undertakings have developed vigorously, and the ancient town has been rejuvenated. The main enterprises are oil press factory, sunflower processing factory, brick factory and carpet processing factory.

Farming
Baiwen town is a big agricultural town in the whole county. It focuses on structural adjustment while developing traditional industries. In terms of planting, more than 15000 mu of farmland has been converted to forest, and 30 mu of calcium fruit has been planted in Nanzhuang, which is the first step in the adjustment of industrial structure. In terms of breeding, Chaoyang farm has been listed as the "two zones" development project and the city's leading breeding project by the provincial government in 2006. In terms of labor export, nearly 40000 people have been transferred in the town in three years, accounting for one third of the total population every year. In 2005, the total income of labor export reached 28 million yuan, 700 yuan per capita. The income of migrant workers has become the main channel of farmers' income. Township Education
The town has always given priority to the development of education.
