Huainian township is located in the southwest of Fushan County, Linfen City, Shanxi Province. It is adjacent to Dongzhang Township and xiangshuihe town in the East, Yicheng and Xiangfen in the south, Linfen in the West and Zhangzhuang Township in the north. The terrain is a north-south beam, about 40 Li long from north to South and 20 Li wide from east to west. Most of the population is concentrated on the beam. It is a temperate continental climate with four distinct seasons.
