Beihai Street

Beihai street is located in the north of Jiyuan City, Henan Province. Beihai Road, Jidu road and Jiyang road run through the East and West, Tiantan Road, Qinyuan road and Wenchang Road run through the north and south, covering an area of 10.9 square kilometers. Jiyuan railway station is also located in the area under its jurisdiction. There are national cultural relics protection units Jidu temple and Fengxian Temple. It is a commercial residential tourism area planned by the municipal government.

On November 21, 2019, it was selected into the list of the third batch of national "anti pornography and anti illegal" grassroots demonstration sites.

Beihai Street governs 13 neighborhood committees, including Lizhuang, xiaoliuzhuang, miaojie, Miaohou, donggaozhuang, tiean, YaoYuan, Zhifang, Beizi, Mazhai, xiajie, sanzhuang, Dongguan, 5 communities, including Wanquan community, wangchunyuan community, qingleyuan community, xinmangyuan community and Huayuan community, with a population of 48371 (in 2010).

Beihai sub district office's economic and social undertakings are developing rapidly. In 2012, the local financial revenue reached 66 million yuan, and the per capita cash income of residents exceeded 12700 yuan. It has been awarded many honorary titles, such as the demonstration unit of social pension service in Henan Province, the grassroots window service unit satisfied by the masses in Henan Province and so on.

In recent years, the investment projects of Jiyuan Shenzhou Kangda Dairy Co., Ltd., Jiyuan Keling Electric Appliance Co., Ltd., Jiyuan Changlin Manghe Chemical Co., Ltd. have been completed and put into operation, providing economic guarantee for the development of Beihai.
