Zhanqian street, subordinate to Jinzhou District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, is located in the southwest of Jinzhou district. It is connected with maqiaozi street in the southeast, Yellow Sea in the south, Dalian Bay Street in Ganjingzi District in the southwest, Guangzhong street in the northwest, and Xianjin street in the northeast. The maximum distance between East and West is 4 km, and the maximum distance between North and south is 4.2 km, with a total area of 16.6 square kilometers.
In July 1903, after the Middle East Railway was opened to traffic, blocks were built. When Japan occupied, it was designated as Xinshi street, where Jinzhou civil affairs department was stationed. After liberation, it was designated as xinshifang. In October 1956, it was changed into advanced street. In 1970, Zhanqian street was set up. By the end of 2011, the total population of Zhanqian sub district was 40353, including 40353 urban permanent residents, with an urbanization rate of 100%. As of June 2020, Zhanqian street has jurisdiction over 10 communities and 4 administrative villages, and its sub district office is located at 162 Wuyi Road.
