Jinshan Town
Jinshan Town, belonging to Liangzhou District, Wuwei City, Gansu Province, is located in the northwest of Liangzhou District, 42 kilometers away from Liangzhou city in the southeast. It is adjacent to fengle town in the East, Kangning town and Xiying town in the south, Sunan Yugur Autonomous County and Yongchang County in the west, and fengle town in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 26.6 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 18.9 kilometers. The total administrative area is 58 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, Jinshan Town had a registered residence of 6435 people.
From the Western Han Dynasty to the Wei Dynasty, Jinshan Town belonged to guzang County, Wuwei County. In January 1956, it was called Jinshan Township. In October 1958, it merged with jieheba and Qinglin township to form fengle commune. In 1962, Jinshan commune was established. In July 1983, Jinshan Township was established. In March 2018, the township was withdrawn and Jinshan Town was established. As of June 2020, Jinshan Town has jurisdiction over one community and six administrative villages. From the Western Han Dynasty to the Wei Dynasty, Jinshan Town belonged to guzang County, Wuwei County.
From the Western Jin Dynasty to the "five cool" period of the Sixteen States, it belonged to Yanran county and Wuxing county respectively.
From the Northern Wei Dynasty to the early Sui Dynasty, it belonged to Linzhong county and Xiangcheng County of Wuwei County.
In the Tang and Song Dynasties, it belonged to Shenniao county and Jialin county respectively.
