Xicheng street, belonging to Xingping City, Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the west of the central district. It is adjacent to Dongcheng Street in the East, Fengyi town and Zhuangtou town in the south, Mawei street in the West and Nanshi town in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 7 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 5.2 kilometers, with a total area of 36.3 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, Xicheng street has jurisdiction over 11 communities and 11 administrative villages. In 2011, Xicheng street had a total population of 90852, with a total agricultural output value of 74 million yuan and a total industrial output value of 7.675 billion yuan.
Historical evolution
It is named for its jurisdiction in the western part of the county.
In 1949, Xingping abolished the Baojia system and established nine districts under the jurisdiction of Guo district (the first district) as guanran township.
In January 1958, guanran township was abolished and qilimiao town was set up.
In March 1959, it was changed into qilimiao commune.
In May 1965, it was changed into Ranzhuang commune.
In August 1966, it was changed into Qili town.
In 1984, Ranzhuang township was established.
In November 2001, it merged with Ranzhuang Township and established Xicheng street.
