Xincheng street is located in the north of Shangshui County, Zhoukou City, adjacent to Zhoukou administrative new area. Shangshui County in the north, Weiyi road in the south, Wuhuang line in the East and Licheng road in the west, with a length of 3.1 km from north to South and 4.2 km from east to west, covering an area of 13.02 square kilometers.

Evolution of organizational system

In 1949, it established the first district of Shangshui County, built Chengguan Township in 1956, changed Chengguan Central Township in 1958, later built commune, and changed town in 1982. In 1997, with an area of 12.4 square kilometers and a population of 42000, it has jurisdiction over seven administrative villages, namely Zhengzhuang, damazhuang, Kangzhuang, nancaiyuan, Chengguan Town East Street, Chengguan Town West Street and Chengguan Town South Street. In January 2006, the Provincial Department of Civil Affairs: with the approval of Henan Provincial People's government, Chengguan town of Shangshui county was abolished, and three new sub district offices were set up in Shangshui County, including old city, new city and east city.

There are three communities and three administrative villages under Xincheng street. The communities include Zhengzhuang community, damazhuang community and Shangcheng community. The administrative villages include wanghuayu village, Suanzhang village and Makou village.
