Wan'an town belongs to Xinluo District, Longyan City, Fujian Province. It is located in the north of Xinluo District, Longyan city. Historical evolution

In Ming Dynasty and early Qing Dynasty, Xikou Yicheng was set up in Wan'an area.

After the 13th year of Yongzheng (1735), Yicheng was dismissed and set up in xikouzhou, which was renamed xianzuo in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China.

In 1931, it was changed into a district and township. In addition to today's Wan'an, the district extends to some villages in meicuntou of Juxi, Liancheng in the west, yingdou (Sihu) in the East, and Beiyang, shuangche and Xiebai in Tiechang of Shanghang and Jiangshan in the south.
