Qiaotou town, subordinate to Wen County, Longnan City, Gansu Province, is located in the north of Wen County, downstream of Yangtang. It is adjacent to Linjiang town in the East, Jianshan Township and Chengguan town in the south, Shifang Township and baoziba town in the west, Tianchi Township in the north and Liping town in the northeast. It is 65 kilometers away from Wen County, with a total area of 229.13 square kilometers.
In December 1949, Qiaotou town belonged to Yangtang township of Linjiang district; in 2014, Qiaotou township was changed into Qiaotou town. History of construction
In December 1949, it belonged to Yangtang Township, Linjiang district.
March 1950, Linjiang district.
In May 1953, it was Qiaotou district.
In June 1955, it belonged to Linjiang district. Seven townships were merged into four townships, Qiaotou, Guzhen, jiushe and dianzhai.
In April 1958, the four townships were merged into Qiaotou commune.
In August 1960, Qiaotou commune was divided into Qiaotou commune, tunzhai commune and Luojiaping commune.
In December 1962, Luojiaping commune was merged into Qiaotou commune.
In November 1983, Qiaotou commune was changed into Qiaotou township.
In 2014, Qiaotou township was changed from township to town.
