Karakor Township
Karaker township is located in the northwest of Yutian County, Hotan Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. It is adjacent to xiwule Township and yingbage Township in the East, togrigaz Township in the south, damagou Township in Cele County in the West and Daliyabuyi Township in the north. It covers an area of 777.99 square kilometers. In 2018, the registered residence of the population was 16558.
In 1938, it belonged to the Fifth District of Tian county. October commune was established in 1959. In 1978, it was renamed karakor commune. In 1984, karaker township was built. As of October 2019, karakor township has jurisdiction over 13 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located in nitherkule village.
In 2018, there is a comprehensive store or supermarket with a business area of more than 50 square meters in karaker township.
