Chadan Township, belonging to Zaduo County, Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, is located in the west of Zaduo County, bordering adoo Township and jieduo Township in the East, Baqing county and nierong County of Tibet Autonomous Region in the South bounded by Tanggula Mountain Ridge in the south, Anduo County of Tibet Autonomous Region in the West bounded by Dangqu and tributary guoqu in the west, and Moyun Township in the North bounded by zanaqu in the north. On October 15, 2001, danrong and Chadang townships were abolished and chadan township was merged. By the end of 2018, the population of Zhendan Township registered residence was 5542. In 2019, chadan village governs four administrative villages, and the people's government is stationed in chegaima.

History of construction

In 1970, danrong commune was established in adduo township.
In 1984, it was changed to danrong township.
