Huangcheng Mongolian Township
Huangcheng Mongolian Township, belonging to Menyuan Hui Autonomous County, Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, is located at the west end of Menyuan Hui Autonomous County. It is adjacent to Haomen farm, qingshizui grassland and sujiwan village in the East, zhasha and Menyuan horse farm in Qilian County in the south, Qilian County in jingyangling in the west, Shandan army horse farm and dog teeth in Sunan County in the north. The area is 542.61 square kilometers. In 2018, 2014 people registered residence.
In the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940), huangchengtan Township, directly under Qinghai Province, was set up together with zhenqiangtan. In 1943, it was changed to Menyuan County, which was called the fourth district. In 1946, the district was removed and the township was established. In 1950, the Fifth District of Menyuan County was set up. In 1958, it was renamed Huangcheng commune. In 1959, the grassland of Huangcheng commune was transferred to Sunan County, Gansu Province, and the establishment of the commune was abolished. In 1963, urban and rural areas were restored. In 1968, it was changed into Tuanjie Township. In 1969, the Imperial City commune was restored. In 1984, Huangcheng Mongolian township was established. As of October 2019, Huangcheng Mongolian countryside has jurisdiction over four administrative villages.
In 2018, there are three comprehensive stores or supermarkets with business area of more than 50 square meters in Huangcheng Mongolian township.
