Maojing Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Huan County, Qingyang City, Gansu Province, is located in the northwest of Huan County, bordering Xiaonangou Township in the East, Landao Township and lujiawan Township in the south, Maqu Township in Yuanzhou District of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in the west, and zhangjiayuan Township in Tongxin County of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in the north. The administrative area is 632 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the population of Mao Jing's registered residence was 17062.
In October 1958, Maojing commune was established. In December 1983, the commune was transformed into a township. In January 2016, the township was replaced by township. As of June 2020, Maojing town has 13 administrative villages.

History of construction
In June 1936, Maojing district was established, belonging to Gubei county.
In April 1938, it was transferred to Huan County.
In October 1958, Maojing commune was established.
