Xianglian Township
Xianglian Township, located in the north of Kongtong District, Pingliang City, Gansu Province, is adjacent to Shilipu town in the East, Baimiao town in the south, Zhaihe town in the West and Caofeng town in the north. The total administrative area of Xianglian township is 77.56 square kilometers.
Before 1949, Shizi government office was set up. After 1949, it was changed into Shizi district. In 1958, it was transferred to Caofeng commune. In 1961, Shizi commune was established. In March 1981, it was changed to Xianglian township. At the end of 2018, the registered residence of Xiang Lian township was 7108. As of June 2020, Xianglian township has jurisdiction over 11 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located in Shizi village.
By the end of 2011, Xianglian Township had 10 commercial outlets and 1 rural market. As of 2018, there was one industrial enterprise in Xianglian township.
