Huasuo town
Huasuo Town, belonging to Kongtong District, Pingliang City, Gansu Province, is famous for the establishment of huajiazhuang delivery office in the Qing Dynasty. Huasuo town is located in the east of Kongtong District, adjacent to Wangcun township of Jingchuan County in the East, Gaozhuang township of Chongxin County in the south, Baishui town in the West and Zhongyuan township of Zhenyuan County of Qingyang City in the north. It is the intersection of four counties (districts), with an administrative area of 66.09 square kilometers.
In September 1949, Huasuo District Office was established. In March 1955, Huasuo was incorporated into Baishui District, under the jurisdiction of Huasuo township. In September 1966, Huasuo commune was established. In November 1983, it was changed to Huasuo township. In 2018, the township will be changed into a town. By the end of 2018, Huju town had a registered residence population of 18614. As of June 2020, Huasuo town has nine administrative villages under its jurisdiction.
By the end of 2018, there were 4 industrial enterprises in Huasuo town.
Historical evolution
In September 1949, Huasuo District Office was established.
In June 1950, it was changed into the Sixth District of Pingliang county.
In 1952, it was renamed the seventh district.
In March 1955, Huasuo was incorporated into Baishui District, under the jurisdiction of Huasuo township.
In March 1958, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged, and Huasuo township was established.
In December 1958, it was transferred to Jinghe commune.
In June 1961, it was divided into Huasuo commune.
In November 1964, it was incorporated into Baishui commune.
In September 1966, Huasuo commune was established.
In October 1966, it was renamed Guangming commune.
In March 1981, it was renamed Huasuo commune.
In November 1983, it was changed to Huasuo township.
In 2018, the township will be changed into a town.

Huasuo town is located in Dongchuan District of Kongtong District, bordering Wangcun township of Jingchuan County in the East, Gaozhuang township of Chongxin County in the south, Baishui town in the West and Zhongyuan township of Zhenyuan County of Qingyang City in the north. It is the intersection of the four counties (districts). The people's Government is stationed at No. 2 Huasuo street of Huasuo village, 45km away from the urban area. The maximum distance between the East and the west is 11.5km, the maximum distance between the north and the south is 7.8km, and the administrative area is 66.09km Square kilometers.

Huasuo town is located in the hilly gully region of the Loess Plateau, with high terrain in the West and low terrain in the East, with an average altitude of 1160 meters.
