Guochuan town
Guo Chuan Town, a member of Qingshui County, Tianshui, Gansu, is located in the southwest of Qingshui County, east to Jin Ji Town, and south to Maiji District, and to the west of the town of Shifu, Maiji district. The north is bordered by Yunshan Township, Qinan County, with an area of 72.47 square kilometers, and in 2018, the registered residence population was 19183.

In August 1949, it belonged to Yimen Township, Xinhua District, Tianshui county. In 1983, it was changed to Guochuan township. In November 2015, the township government changed from township to town, and the jurisdiction of the town government and administrative region remained unchanged. As of June 2020, Guochuan town has jurisdiction over 2 communities and 15 administrative villages.
In 2018, Guochuan town has three comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution
In the 10th year of emperor Wugong of Qin Dynasty (688 BC), it was named lanquchuan, with lanqu as sanyangli (now sunshan Village).
In the ninth year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1376), it was under the jurisdiction of qinzhouwei, gongchang Prefecture, Shaanxi Province.
At the end of Ming Dynasty and the beginning of Qing Dynasty, it belonged to the Sixth District of Tianshui, which was under the jurisdiction of Tian De, the general gentry of Beilu. Later, lanquchuan was changed into fengshengchuan and fengshengxiang was changed into fengshengxiang.
In August 1949, it belonged to Yimen Township, Xinhua District, Tianshui county.
In 1954, it was put under Qingshui, still known as Yimen township.
In 1959, it was changed into Yimen brigade under the jurisdiction of Xinhua commune.
In 1961, Guochuan commune was established.
In 1965, Liuchuan and Tianchuan communes were merged.
In 1983, it was changed to Guochuan township.
