Huangjiaying town belongs to Yang County, Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the southeast of Yangxian County, adjacent to huangjinxia town in the East, sangyuan town in Xixiang County in the south, Huang'an town in the west, Hanjiang River in the north and Longting town across the river. Its total area is 131.69 square kilometers.

Huangjiaying town has one former site of Zhenfu County in Northern Song Dynasty, two scenic spots of Zhenfu temple and five Buddha nunnery.

Historical evolution
