Xiangshui town

Xiangshui town belongs to Nanzheng District, Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the east of Nanzheng District, adjacent to Erli town of Chenggu County in the East, FA town in the south, mujiaba town in the two sides, and hujiaying town and Shengshui Town in the north. Its total area is 87.73 square kilometers.

In Xiangshui Town, there are four ancient buildings such as Huayan Temple Pagoda and three important representative modern buildings such as youth bridge.

As of June 2020, Xiangshui town has 12 administrative villages. By the end of 2018, the population of Xiangshui town registered residence was 14303. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Xiangshui town reached 110 million yuan, the total industrial output value reached 71.7 million yuan, and the total social commodity sales reached 47 million yuan.

Historical evolution

It got its name from Xiangshui temple.

After 1949, Xiangshui commune and Xiangshui Township were established here.

In 1996, the original Haitang Township, Hongqi Township and Xiangshui Township were merged into Xiangshui town.

Water system hydrology

The river course in Xiangshui town belongs to Hanjiang River system, a tributary of the Yangtze River. Xiangshui River, the main river, originates from the mountain of Guanyinqiao village, flows through chenjiaba and yanjiaba villages to shiyanzi of wuligou village, with a flow length of 11km.
