Zhouwan town belongs to Wuqi County, Yan'an City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the northeast of Wuqi County, adjacent to Changcheng Town in the East and North, Wugu town in the South and haotan town in Dingbian County of Yulin City in the West. The maximum distance from east to west is 16 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 27 kilometers, with a total area of 238.80 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, zhouwan town has eight administrative villages. As of 2018, the number of registered residence in Zhou Wan Town was 10554. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of zhouwan town was 69.72 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 6288 yuan.
Historical evolution
During the reign of Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty (1821-1850), Zhoujiawan was named after zhouwan, which was named zhouwan for short.
In 1958, zhouwan commune was established.
In September 1984, zhouwan town was established.
