Fenghuo Town, belonging to Liquan County, Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the east of Liquan county. It is adjacent to Wangqiao town of Jingyang County on the South Bank of Jinghe River in the East, Qiandong town in the south, xizhangbao town in the West and Ganhe River in the north. Its total area is 56.19 square kilometers.

As of June 2020, Fenghuo town has 12 administrative villages. As of 2018, the registered residence population was 30569. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Fenghuo town reached 280 million yuan, the total industrial output value reached 980 million yuan, and the total social commodity sales reached 310 million yuan.

Historical evolution

In 1958, when the commune was established, it was named after the name of the advanced beacon agricultural cooperative in its jurisdiction.

In November 1958, Fenghuo commune was established by merging Xinxiang and Qiandong.

In 1961, Qiandong commune was separated from Fenghuo commune.

In 1984, it was changed into beacon town.

In 1997, it was changed into beacon town.

As of June 2020, Fenghuo town has 12 administrative villages. The people's government is located in the north of Xujia village, 25km away from the north section of Xianbei highway.
