Diaowei Town, belonging to Chencang District, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the southeast of Chencang District, adjacent to wuzhangyuan town of Qishan County in the East, Qinling Mountains in the South and SongGe town of Taibai County in the south, Tianwang town in the west, Weihe River in the north and caijiapo town of Qishan County. The maximum distance from east to west is 8 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 26 kilometers, with a total area of 117 square kilometers.

By the end of 2011, diaowei town had jurisdiction over one community in diaowei Town Street; 24 administrative villages including Hongxing, Dongyang, Dongya, Dongfeng, dongwa, Xiwa, Xiyuan, zhujiatan, Tanzhuang, Xiya, Jintai, Nancun, Beicun, Jietou, zhaiziwa, chengjiaya, getagou, zhangjiacun, Gaoya, yijiaya, liangjiaya, gaoqiaogou, Dawangou and mojiawa; 29 resident groups and 156 villages Village group.
